I have found that I should not eat out while upset. I did not make wise choices today. I was going to eat a good diner but was at work late. The husband and kids wanted Long John's. I did not eat as much from LJ's as normally. I will have to make better choices the rest of the week. If anyone has suggestions on staying on track while being bored or worried, I would love to hear suggestions.

I think the key Beckey, is not to let it burden you, dwelling on a food choice that may have put you over on points. To dwell will lead no doubt to more destructive eating. You had some high-point choices today. You're right, you will have to make some better choices the rest of the week but that doesn't translate into punishing yourself the entire week, dreading weigh-in because you ate out lunch and dinner. Own it. Move on. It's just food. Don't let it own YOU. ;-)
