Fasting today. I've been doing that about once a month, even since I read that people who fast once a month have healthier hearts. It's getting easier, too. When I first started fasting, after about 10 in the morning, my body would have a dialogue with itself where my brain would tell me, "Eat!" and another voice would answer "Can't, fasting..." (repeat every three seconds until bedtime). Now it's not really bad at all, though my belly does rumble a little occasionally, especially at night. And it really does re-set my metabolism. I often don't feel like eating as much for days afterwards.
