You know mentally I find it difficult to push myself to do the run, but I force it put on some great tunes and once I get going I really begin to enjoy it. After I always feel pumped and proud, and usually I mostly do a better harder run than I target, so I feel a huge achievement boost. And when finished, I feel great, blood pumping high energy and glowing. So for the next time I try to focus on the post buzz and how good that feels rather than the cringe of getting started :) :) You look amazing, and fit!! Focus on your results they're worthy motivations :)

I have autoimmune issues too. When I get healthy enough to get out of this bed my sister and I will restart our daily walks. I enjoy nature, and as a farm kid grown up, I don’t feel right if I don’t get out in the fresh air daily! But you work out warriors, I really admire you!! Keep up the great work! You look wonderful!!👏👏👏👍🎉

People with treadmills can use zwift ...to break the boredom as well...

Get out of bed and move— walk, enjoy the sunshine. You will feel no worse taking a gentle walk than you will in bed. My sister says that all the time — when I feel better, I will take a little walk to the mailbox. 70 years and she still hasn’t taken that walk to the mailbox and she has a host of other medical problems related to inactivity.

I wish I loved lifting. I grudgingly do some because of the huge rewards but...😝

How you can read and workout at the same time ?

I don't understand the post. I'm reading, "I don't like to do cardio, I'd much rather be doing cardio."

Nathan, I guess I wasn't clear..you aren't only one who commented ...I meant I hate indoor " mechanical" cardio and also I'm not a fan of dance type group classes..(sorry Letty) I'm not that coordinated..lol I do like outdoor cardio like hiking and biking. I love being outdoors and exploring new places so I'm sure that's part of it. My post was simply a "whine" about being on treadmill.

Kenna, I do walk alot, especially when we are traveling. I was more talking about a more intense type of cardio...I lift 5-6 days a week so I'm definitely getting my exercise in...I do like a HIIT routine so maybe I should incorporate those into my workouts?💜💪 AA, I was doing a brisk walk while reading. I think it was at 4.1 speed. I can't read while running, just not that coordinated...😆😆

Diana123 my comment about the walking was for bgr12– I guess I forgot to enter who the comment was directed to.. walking is wonderful for many reasons but not the greatest weight loss adjunct unless you can factor in time and distance. Hill hiking is another story— great cardio. Resistance training is very effective for sure.
