I need to have a little rant here... Sorry!
Alright, today I weighed in higher than I have since starting on this website. Sure most of it was probably water weight since I have a lot of sugar and salt yesterday but a few months ago I was a solid 4 pounds less than I am now.
Since I started to increase my protein my weight has steadily been rising. I'm not sure if this is because I'm over compensating for not having all the carbs I like by eating sugar or if it's because of some other random thing. But let's be honest, not eating cereal for breakfast is kinda upsetting to me. And I guess it's not just cereal. I feel like I have to think wayyyy too much about the macro nutrients in my food lately. I get this whole "can't eat this" attitute that definitely backfires on me.
OK, that being said. I also switched birth control about 4 months ago too which is about the time my weight was leveled off at it's lowest. So maybe it's the BC that's messing me up as well. I have an appointment in 3 weeks to try to get off of hormones entirely. But there's nothing I can do about anything until then.
I think I'm taking a break. This thing has never been about a "life-style" change with me. I've been eating healthy for as long as I can remember. I switched to whole grains and low fat stuff years ago. I eat fruits and veggies anyway. So what if I have chocolate and baked goods sometimes? It's not gonna kill me. Anyway, I'll probably be back after I see the gyno. But right now, I don't think I'm going to lose weight and I'm sick of torturing myself.

hi there....i just noticed you said "I'm over compensating for not having all the carbs I like by eating sugar"....that could be your problem, as sugar is the worst carb of all. if you are trying to eat low carb, but are still eating lots of sugar, it's probably not working at all. but maybe you are going for something else....just trying to be helpful:) good luck!
