Nami_mommy's Journal, 10 March 2014

I knew I was having a cheat day over the weekend so I ate under 500 cal tues-fri. Weighed in Monday at 231 by Friday I was 227lbs lol. I ate at Golden Corral twice this weekend. Was only suppose to be once but family had a little get together. But I ate fruits and veggies. Good I prepared lol. So today I'm back at 227 after gaining 3 lbs for the two cheat days. Lost the 3lbs in a unhealthy way I will confess but IT HAD TO GO! And I didn't feel bad after my cheat day this time like I thought I would. Awesomeness

You need a "cheat" day now and then to keep from re-setting your metabolism to a lower set point. Many times I have personally seen where I actually lost a pound after a single cheat day. Keep up the good work.

The weird thing is food doesn't taste as good as it used too. So I may not have a cheat day "treat day" aging. Maybe just a cold moca from Star Bucks or something. Food doesn't appeal to me anymore bitter sweet. My body trained itself.

Hey Nami, that's great that your body has "trained itself" ~ wish mine would do that, LOL! Maybe it will eventually. You are doing fantastic, & I agree with what others say, we need some treat days. They help prevent our "falling off the (weight loss) wagon", & I like what brown davi says about their re-setting your metabolism. Not sure I fully understand what that's all about, but it sounds great to me, hee hee! Keep up the good work gal, you're truly inspirational.

Thanx Glam! You can do it. It just takes some will power and some time. Your body gets used to it after a while it won't even feel like a diet anymore. If you need support or encouragement you can always inbox me
