Hi, I am 46 years old and I have one son who is 29 and One granddaughter who is 9. I work as a personal assistant. I was always thin growing up, when I got married at 28 , I probably weighed 125 lbs. and 6 months later was in the 160s and eventually got to 180s. I never thought I'd have a weight problem. I blame the marriage (stressful relationship) I started a lot of emotional eating. Enough is enough, ive been kind of yo yo dieting for years, im ready to Do This and stay on track. Ive only recently signed up at fatsecret and ive found that everyone is so supportive and helpful. This is an amazing site and I believe that it is helping me a lot. That marriage has been over for quite a while and I really need to improve my eating habits and I have a good start right here.

I also heard that if you eat off of blue plates you don't eat as much and if you eat off of a white plate you eat more or finish the whole plate.

I got tired of seeing the same weight for days and ive been doing pretty good so now I wait a few days in between weighing. It makes me feel better seeing the numbers go down verses weighing everyday and being disappointed seeing the same number.Idea

Question Did anyone ever hear of replacing your frig. bulb with a blue one. I guess its suppose to make the food look less appetizing.Laughing
