I caved yesterday and had 2 slices of NY style pizza. I have to say it was not worth it! Felt bloated and like a brick in my stomach. I was surprised I still dropped weight this morning...I definitely wont cheat with pizza again-I prefer chocolate.. My motto is to live one day at a time and one meal at a time !

I understand what you mean. I did the same thing with a yogurt covered cherry yesterday and when I started to chew it was so processed and not what I expected. I think the sugar made me a little nauseous...Next time I'll go for a serving of pasta and enjoy every bite~

I caved over the weekend and had an ice cream sundae. I woke up Monday morning extremely bloated after going to bed with an upset stomach. I definitely will not be cheating for a while either.

it helps a lot to plan ahead, I set my diet out for the week I take a "lean" day and I leave a day for anything goes, including a couple slices of pizza....everything in moderation is the way to take it

It really helps me to hear how you felt terrible after the "cavings". I feel the same way and hearing from you reminds me to look beyond my immediate craving to how I'll feel the day after. Thanks!

I have learned that when I cave in, I get bloated and feel yucky so It keeps me on the straight and narrow,

Sorry it wasn't worth the anticipation, hate it when that happens.

To get that 'pizza fix', I just eat the toppings! My husband orders a whole one for me any way I want it and then I'll scoup toppings off of 3 of them. That is a meal in itself for me and I get all of the yummy flavors.
Maybe you should try that some time. Or look online for a carb friendly pizza recipe, like where they use cauliflower for the crust. Sounds crazy, but there are ways of still having that 'pizza' delight in your diet. Best wishes to you.
