I remember feeling that way! I started out at an all women's gym and that helped a bunch to get over that. Also if your not ready to lift at the gym yet checkout WWW.bodylastics.com! That's a great alternative. It comes with several pre designed workouts to choose from :)

We all started somewhere, even the "fit people". I've always been more impressed with the ones starting and out and sticking to it, and seeing changes with them than anyone else. You get used and will feel more comfortable.

You're right. I just have to dive in... But I will have to ask how to lift. I don't know where to start and don't want to hurt myself lol

If is possible, try to get a trainer for a few sessions and if not, you can buy a book and study the exercises and watch videos!

Yes a personnel is a good way to start. Books and magazines. A work out buddy helps to so you both can check each others form. Watch people and don't be hesitate to ask for help.
