i hate how my body works. i work out more than i normally do, and i gain weight. but if i just walk around a bit, and do a few crunches, i lose weight. why does this have to be so hard?

I know what you mean - I ended up going to the gym a lot last year and it reached the point where I was fitter and yet about half a stone heavier. So I stopped going to the gym and ended up lighter and squidgy...I suppose you just have to find the right balance and the right exercises to tone up and not put on loads of weight - I got recommended Tracy Anderson as a trainer (she trains celebs and stuff) and there's a couple of youtube videos of her workouts. They focus on improving tone but not putting on weight (and from the look of her it has amazing results!) Maybe you can take some of that and work it into your own classes/gym/exercises?? Hope that helps :D x
