since 1/3/11 i've attempted to enter everything i eat/drink (except water) and all the exercise i'm doing... i've never watched what i ate and until a few years ago i didn't ever have to. i also never exercised. but now that i'm categorized as "overweight" and according to some charts only 4lbs. away from "obese" for my height i think it's time to slim down...

in hs and a few years after i was like a size 3, running around eating whatever i wanted. then when i was like 22 it started catching up to me... and now i'm 24 (25 in march) and i'm 5'3 and 165lbs. i used to be so confident in my looks and now my body makes me sad. the worst part is that when my bf tells me how beautiful he thinks i am, i just don't feel it. my goal is to get back down to 125lbs. but i think i'd be happy around 130lbs., i just wanna lose my belly!

so here i am, counting calories and utilizing the public library that sits below my office. i have been checking out an obscene amount of low-cal and swap-out cookbooks - did you know you could check out 50 books at a time at the sfpl? i just found that out too [= hopefully i'll get through all of the books i have here (and on hold) and post a list of my top faves.
