It is day 4 of working out and I am feeling so much better. My moods seem more stable and I am feeling less anxious. I still want to see a Dr. about meds for postpartum but I think exercise is definitely helping.
I am definitely experiencing some information overload. I hate that I let Bernie lead the dieting charge. I know what works for me and I just need to be more assertive and stick to it.
My weight loss goal for January is 10 lbs. I would like to lose 30 lbs by Sadie's 9 month birthday. Maybe that is too much but its only 10 lbs/month. If I lose 30 lbs I will be back down to my pre-Bernie weight of 166ish. I am going to revisit this goal at the end of January and make sure that it is attainable.
Right now, its my arms and back that need the most toning. Well, I guess everything needs to be toned back up after having a baby. I don't want a mommy body. I want MY body back. If others can do it, I can to.
I am content with working out on the crosstrainer right now but I will eventually add in a circuit workout, too. I think moderation is the key to my long term success. I want to want to keep working out. I just feel so much better when I'm active.
