For once, I am committed to see this thing through to success. I recently had a reality check - a skirt that I bought was not a 16 as it indicated on the hanger, but an 18. Oh My! I was ticked. Ticked enough to regroup and focus on the task at hand. I did take advantage of Cyber Monday and purchased larger size pants...bless my poor little size 14 dress pants...the seams have expanded considerably. I actually got up at 4:30am and spent some time in Bible study, stretched and then knocked out 2 miles on the elliptical. It wasn't easy. Goodness knows it wasn't easy. Heart rate got up to 172 beats per minute!!! Yes, I slowed down. I'm here because I need the support to continue moving down the scale and not up. UP I got. DOWN is the tricky part. I need to read other people's success and struggles. I purchased an Easy Diet Journal by Alex A Lluch. For four weeks I just wrote down what I ate and wasn't worried about the calorie intake. I'm on the 6 week (out of 26 weeks) and this has been good for me. I continue to be challenged to stay within my calorie limit of 1600. I will be changing it up as I exercise more. I started a 60 day workout -- and will incorporate some Turbo Fire into it. This plus making smarter/healthier choices will help me. Also, I find that I sit alot at work. I want to incorporate movement every hour or so...if nothing else than to just get up. Welcome to my world....I type as I talk.
