LOL Janelleas you are so funny! ImLuuvd, what does booo yaaa mean? When I was in China, I asked the tour guide what to say to the venders when they jump on you, and she said to say "boo yaa". So I said it and they thought it was so funny. So I looked it up on the net and it said that it meant "I'll kill you". Do you have another meaning?

Ick! That is such a lousy feeling. I like my wine but keep it in check (most of the time) just at the thought of feeling crappy the next day. Problem is that I'm such a lightweight with it that 2 glasses is sometimes too much. I crave salty fatty food after and the thought of sweets turns me off too.

Ugh I feel for you girlie. Just be glad it was one night...thankfully hangovers pass...I recommend an aspirin...and warm but not hot shower...a cold carb such as a sandwhich or a cold potato or a cold pasta...then a small nap...maybe a diet dew when you wake up. Glad you had fun :) Go out at get that excercise today and sweat it out!

LOL. I have those "I'm too old for this" moments also! Good plan to get in the exercise. Looking forward to reading in your next journal entry what type of exercise you did. Enjoy your workout! Love your grateful attitude.

Look out! Sorry about the hangover! I have always heard that a hangover is a sign that your body is dehydrated. You will drink lots of water to re-hydrate your body -- I am certain! I am glad the dinner party was a success and that you were able to comfort your friend and "let your hair down" a bit -- not to imply that you are a hair-up kind of gal. I enjoyed hearing about the party -- truly! Keep the faith! No more champagne for us for a while -- okay? Okay!

LOL at the New Years Party that evolved whilst you were "under the influence". I hate not remembering the whole evening! But it sounds like you had a lot of fun and I'm sure the unexpected party will be a hit, too. It's important for us all not to heap on the guilt at this time of year when our eating habits are put to the test. Enjoying life's celebrations is a must if we ever hope to make this a permanent commitment. All restriction and no fun makes for a recipe for failure, to be sure. Keeping up the exercise is a great way to counterbalance. Keep up the great effort and attitude!

LOL! I am you today. Went to friend's house last night-drank tequila-no appetite. The food looked glorious though. Spoke french to actual French people. Invited myself and family to her house for Xmas Eve. I would NEVER do such a thing sober. Now I don't know what to do...
I hope you are feeling better today-it sounds like you had a marvelous time-at least what you can remember.

Ohhh you bad girl!!! only kidding. It is wonderful that you had such a great time.. and the aftermath (the pain) you feel today will subside and pretty much put a guarantee that you won't do it too often. I hope your friend appreciates your sacrifices :) :) Much laughter in the coming few weeks... Stormi

Gug and anyone else wondering....Booya is in the urban dictionary, meaning, "in your face, or Heck Yes or Hell Yes, or also known as a yell of satisfaction or something being done well with braggin rights. gug, I lived in other countries where you can not use terms we use here in the states at all. In fact the word Peach in Turkey is an extremely vulgar word! Now back in the USA when someone tells me their day is Peachy or they say someone is a peach...I blush and laugh. I'm not sure what booya meant in China, I didn't even find your translation of it. But here in the USA it just means, Heck YA!!!! Sorry for any confusion to anyone.
