Think I"m feeling better today....but it is still early. My nausea tends to hit around 6pm. I made a salmon omelet today for brunch. It was super yummmmmy. I also went on a five mile bike ride. I feel like I have a touch of indigestion, but I took some alka seltzer...seems to help me. I have a DR appt on Mon to do blood tests..etc...I'll see what is going on.

I have missed lox on bagels...the omelet I made this morning didn't even make me miss the bagel...


5 eggs
3 liquid egg whites about 1/3 cup
2 tsp of heavy whipping cream
salt and pepper
mix above.

1 tbs butter
red onions (1/4 cup or less)
1 cup spinach
capers...not many they are super salty
3 oz goat cheese(or less...this cheese is so rich it doesn't take much)
4 oz smoked salmon

Melt butter, saute onions, then add spinach til it wilts...add egg mixture and cook until you like it...1 min before eggs finish cooking add goat cheese and capers....fold into eggs. Turn off heat and then add smoked salmon...fold it into the eggs....remember eggs still cook when you turn off the heat...so don't overcook :)

Enjoy....this made 3 servings for me (about 1000 calories total, 335 cals per serving...see my breakfast diet journal for today)

That sounds delicious! I assume that is 1,000 calories total? It is not per serving, correct? If so, I'm making it this weekend.

I'm sorry to hear that you do not feel well. To what do you attribute the nausea & indigestion? Any ideas? I hope you feel better soon!

Yes around 1000 calories total :) Easy to make and yummmmy. No idea what is going on with my stomach...I just know it needs to stop...NOW...hopefully the DR can clue me in.
