got the munchies's Journal, 25 October 2013

I am disappointed I am losing weight at a slower rate than when I first started. This month only down 5 lbs when I first started it was closer to 10. Maybe this is normal? I am trying to stay focused and remind myself that consistent weight loss is key. It took me a long time to gain this so it should not come off overnight. I am trying to retrain myself with good eating habits and listening to my body cues for when I am hungry and to not eat based on my emotional state.

This is totally normal. The lower in weight you become the harder it is to lose the weight. People that have more weight to lose drop it a lot faster in the beginning as well. Sometimes you have to adjust your calorie intake since you burn less calories when you are smaller too. Keep doing what you're doing, healthy eating and keep active and it will pay off:)
