July 27 shocked to be down another pound. 163.4 this morning. trying to simply eat less in quantity and in calories. So glad to get that scale moving down. But blood sugar is 135 as I cut down glypizide to about 1/8 last night.

Trying to wake up, I drank two cups of coffee and ate 3 dark chocolate covered cranberries. The combination of dark chocolate and coffee is sometimes efficacious. Not sure why I am so sleepy. I think it may be many things, but certainly the morning blood pressure pills play a role. This intense sleepiness I sometimes experience hit s about 10 a.m., probably caused by 7 a.m. dosage. The chocolate and coffee combination is starting to work. I no longer am closing my eyes and jerking awake in what is probably a few seconds, or so it seems. No inclination to sleep now at all.
163.4 lb Lost so far: 34.6 lb.    Still to go: 21.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
