Squarehammer's Journal, 23 July 2020

I would like to formally apologize for my post yesterday. I made a mistake as I did not even know my posting ability was turned off. My only excuse is that I found out yesterday that I have severe full blown hypothyroidism with a TSH reading of 10.9. Getting the meds for it this afternoon. This is causing me to kinda have brain fog. The doctor said I must be a very strong woman to be up and about with a reading that low. I have noticed that I am always kind of tired. My sleep schedule is horrid... sleep 2 hours, stay awake for 3 or 4, then take my little dog and go back to bed for another 2-3 hours, waking up for good at 5 or 6 AM.

So I have a lot on my plate, so to speak. I am not myself. I am so sorry.

I can't believe your weight is that low for hypothyroidism. I think that is every overweight person's dream- or for me at least- I wanted a reason why I was fat besides that I was consuming an obscene amount of food. I wanted to check my thyroid. Of course I had zero issues. ;)

No worries. I've learned my foot tastes great with ketchup. Your all good. And brain fog was my middle name today. I'm praying everything goes well with this issue for you. Be blessed.

Losing 10 pounds with hypothyroidism is an accomplishment. Losing 100 is amazing.

I am so sorry you are struggling with your thyroid. It is troubling to many people here in one way or another, and my youngest son (17ys) had to be placed on thyroid meds this year. I hope you will find a solution and feel better soon. Hang in there! Lots of support here!

STILL on these meds!I had to get another 10 day supply of Cepalexin and still taking 800 mg of Acyclovir 5 times a day. I will be so very glad when this is all over!
