Seeyah's Journal, 03 November 2010

I guess I drive myself crazy sometimes...I weighed this morning and back to 140 lbs...only up a little...but it bothers me. I really want to take off these 5 lbs by the end of the month. I have to be careful with my blood sugar because if I go to low on the diet planning I get shakey....but I really want to hit the 135lbs mark.

I am getting way to many carbs...this is my problem...I think! I know carbs are harder to burn...anyone who reads this...please help! I know they say eggs are good for breakfast..but I am concerned about cholesterol....?

I will revise my breakfast...I thought cheerios was good until I realized how many carbs and that it isn't that high in protein...I bought a new cereal today...looks high in protein, lower in carbs...higher in fiber...and actually lower in calories...I'll see how that works...also thought the dried fruit and nuts were good...but maybe not so good....

Seeyah, what cereal did you buy. I was under the same assumption that Cheerios are good for you too.

You can get egg substitute. There's a brand called Egg Beaters and there's a Great Value brand at Walmart. We use this instead of eggs because my dad has high cholesterol (he ate probably 2 dozen eggs one week. He never paid attention to cholesterol before. Ended up with 242 mg/dl. That's SUPER high and deadly) I know the GV brand has 1 gram of carbs per 1 egg (1/4 cup) and 0mg of cholesterol :)

I will check the cereal I bought tomorrow...think it is from "Healthy Nutrition" or something like that....I know about Egg Beaters...but hadn't check the list of ingredients etc...I will start using a lot of it..(lol)...Yah my cholesterol was even higher than the 242 that you mention here...that was in April...haven't had it checked since my diet and exercise...but I will...Thanks for all the responses everyone..
