Is anyone else finding the calories on some of the foods in here to be low? Corn on the cob says 59 calories and everywhere else I can find says 77- 100+ . Maybe that's why I'm not losing weight very fast, I'm still probably having too many calories

Funny I was also thinking the same thing. A coffee with milk and sugar seems to be about half the calories listed elsewhere. I am alway under my daily intake and I feel I am eating more than I usually do. Any other thoughts ?

i feel the same. sometimes I think the caloric count must be a mistake. I have entered a few items that were not on the database, but still it confuses me.

Sometimes there are more options with different calorie counts. You can enter a new item and put in what you think is correct, or submit a recipe that you can add to your food diary. I always try to check the calorie counts and if I don't think it's quite right and there are no other options and I don't want to add a new item I will add more to my serving size. That corn on the cob could be a small one, so enter 1 1/2 or 2 servings to be safe. Also, Monicadarabos on the coffee with milk and sugar, measure out how much you milk and sugar you are putting in your coffee and add them separately, that's what I do. You should be able to find sugar and the type of milk you use in the database. You do have to beware of some of the items here, sometimes people don't put in the most accurate info.

I find their counts seem a little low, too, but I just do what Mars does...pad the amount a bit. I also have to keep an eye on what amount they're counting, whether they're counting the skin or not....things like that. I count everything separate, too, like the cream and coffee. It just takes a little working out.
