According to Fitbit, the pebble (that little doo dad that lives in the wrist strap) can be worn as a necklace. I believe that you only need to contact points touching your wrist at night if you can to track how good or bad your sleep is.

It depends on the model you have - they offer a clip for the Inspire models that you can wear on your belt

we wear ours on our shoelaces if we aren't going to be walking in wet places, otherwise, I hook mine around a chain on my neck.
