Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 15 March 2013

I keep trying to get some sort of idea of what my end goal weight should be. A healthy high weight for my little midget body seems to be 125. I kept thinking 130 should make me fit. The BMI calculator seems to like people to look like crackheads. At 130 I won't look like a crackhead.

That was before I learned that someone who has a body I would kill for is 5'3" and 117 lbs. I'm 5'1". Maybe 130 lbs is too high. She has a muscular body with abs, buns, and definition. At 130 would I have all those things or would i just look thick? If she looks like that and weighs 117.. what does a crackhead weigh!?!?

Tonight I'm going shopping for slacks to see if I can squeeze my hinny into a size 8. Probably not.. I will probably still buy them though! Seriously?? 117 lbs?! I wonder what size she wears. Crap on a candlestick I need to get my butt in gear!

PS.. Fatsecret.. the crab sandwich from Quiznos that keeps poping up on here.. NOT HELPING!

I think BMI's as a whole don't fit with how everyone's bodies are structured differently. Someone who is athletic can have a high BMI, for example. Two people can be the same height and weight and not have the same body shape or size... it all depends on the individual and how they carry their weight. Man I feel bad for you having a food ad on there, that would drive me insane!

I am 5'2 120 pound2 and a size 3. I have a hourglass figure. Don't know if that helps

When I was much, much younger and felt/looked my best: 5'4", 125 lbs, hourglass figure, natural C cup (too much info? LOL). I was also a runner and a bit of a gym rat, so part of that weight was muscle. Hope that info helps you somehow...cause it mostly just depressed the crud outta me over here! LOL

Models are my height and weight 115lbs. are you kidding me! I can't get below 170 with starvation and massive exercise.

You need to go with a weight that is right for you..not some one else..I used to weigh 135 and am 5'7"..when I was 20 that was just fine..if I was to weigh that now I would look worse than a crackhead..I need a little meat on these bones now just to keep some wrinkles at bay..LOL...

Don't worry about the scale. Use a mirror. A scale should be used to keep you on track but in the end it doesn't matter how much you weigh as long as you can feel good about yourself.

I totally agree with Rhodes. Use the mirror. I always feel like I will know it when I get there. You will get to a point where you are confident and comfortable without having to starve yourself to keep a super low weight.

I think your ideal body weight is determined by your body type. I have two neices both the same height and a couple of years apart in age. One inherited her mothers fine bones and the other got our side of the families neaderthal frame. Both are very athletic and fit but their weight is very different.

I'm a teeny 5'3, hourglass shape with muscular legs and round booty! LOL. Waist up, I;m good at 125, waist down, I'm good at 110, do you know anyone that would like to trade bottoms? LOL , bottom, size 3 and six are very close for me, and fit around 120-125. Hope that helps, I understand your guessing, I did the same. Just get the fat off and you WILL know when you are good! As long as you are losing, learning, or maintaining, you are winning

At 5'2.5",130 pounds, I wear size 8 pants /shorts and size medium in many tops or large in some brands. I've probably gained a few pounds on vacation, but my size 8s still fit. I think feeling comfortable with how you look and feel is much better than going by some number on a scale or chart.
