oh, if sure isn't "Eat every 3 hours" which I thought kept metabolism functioning at optimum.

So I just went hunting to find out what intuitive eating it as I had an idea want to verify me. so here is a link that gives you the basics I can't agree more with the principals but many of us are trapped within a work schedule that makes the eat when you want often difficult. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/quick-guide-intuitive-eating#basics

Intuitive eating doesn't work for me because I have a faulty food-addicted brain. I need to restrict as much as possible and always measure what I eat because I can't be trusted

Intuitive eating is what I, and my whole family did for most of our lives. We didn't count calories or weigh or measure our food, we just ate. Our diet was varied with protein, carbs and fats. We ate lots of fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, rice and bread, cake, cookies, ice cream, candy. We were all physically active and none of us were overweight.
