CSmittyRun's Journal, 17 June 2008

Ok. This is my second journal today but I am going to try to start over. After staring at my weight history for like an hour, I see that I lost 15 lbs from November to March and since March I have had no losses that have lasted. Plateau or something else? I think WW does not let me eat enough and I just do not know anymore. I have already had money taken out of my account for this month so I have until July 12 and I plan to use every bit of it following the plan. If it works, then will reconsider but as of right now I am quitting and going back to listening to my intuition and seeing how it goes. With the money I will save on WW and the gym, I may be able to go see a nutritionist sometime. I am super depressed that my ticker can never go back to showing my progress until I make new progress. So here goes.

yeah, I vote for your intuition. that's the only thing that does it for me. I am sorry you are super depressed! You've got to make more progress some time-- hopefully very soon!

I agree that US WW points are very low calories -- don't know if you were doing flex or core? But just wondered if you're doing flex if you also eat your 35 optional points. I've found doing exercise that I've had to eat "over" what WW deems my daily points target. Currently I'm meant to only eat 18 points -- but haven't dropped my points every 10lbs loss as WW suggests. I'm still targeting (20pts x 7) over the week plus the optional 35 as my weekly target. I've also been zig-zagging these so a typical week of points might look something like: 20, 27, 21, 25, 20, 26, 22 - although the total normally adds up to my weekly total of 175pts. I also try aim for 28 activity points over the week... although haven't done quite so much this week! But if you're doing a fair amount of exercise you could try increasing your points by say 7 over the week and see what happens. I've found filling in the diet calendar really useful aswell in order to keep a check on fat, carb and protein ratios. Anyway, just thought I'd share how I've managed to keep losing in case it might help you too.
