Boy, have I been busy lately! I'm not gonna spoil your morning cup o' joe with any staggering ground-shaking news or anything, but Mitchell dislocated his patella during a football camp last night and ever since, we've been from one doctor to the next, including the pharmacy and the orthopedic center for a brace. Bright and early tomorrow morning, before my cup o' joe, we'll be doing an MRI, in which I really hope he doesn't freak out on! I tried to explain how an MRI 'sounds', and how it's confining, but I'll never know how he does until we get there, I guess! You just don't know if the kid is absorbing anything you say as he looks at you with one eye, the other trained on his favorite TV show! He rattled on excitedly about football, smacked wildly on his apple, and kept telling me to "feel" this cool lump over here, and look at that swelling over there! LOL His attitude is great though! He insisted on going to the football camp today with the rest of his teammates, sunflower seeds and gaterade in hand!! Kids! How can you tell them that they're better off lying down?? I swear, he's related to me! No switching at birth took place over here!!
This week, I've been making a conscious effort to limit carb intake to 20G or less daily. It got out of hand a little these past couple of weeks due to the high physical activity and stress level at work. I'm back to being good again. I know, shocking! :)
Total intake of carbs today was 12g
