Yes, plus it’s fructose. Any fruit has it unfortunately. Fructose goes straight to the liver and the worst result is the insulin spike which happens with any sugar. I myself have found it beneficial for me to stay away from anything that calls for a resultant insulin spike. Insulin resistance is part of a root cause of many disease in addition to weight higher than desired. Keep up your attempt to be aware of carbs/sugar. I’m doing the same and it’s worked very well. It can be really tricky balancing net carbs and calories! For now, I'm eliminating the fruit again. Once I start with it, I want it ALL, all day long!
