Changed my menu a little yesterday - cantaloupe instead of spinach - hubby fixed supper. I still lost .4 lb and glucose was 183 at bedtime and 183 fasting this morning. Menu plan today is chocolate GC Control smoothie with unsweetened almond coconut milk for breakfast. Lunch: boiled egg, cucumber & cream cheese dip. Afternoon snack: cheese stick. Supper: tuna salad and cucumber sticks/cream cheese dip.
We have had so much rain, the cucumbers are sweet and overwhelmingly productive. We can't eat them all and are having to give them away.

Went for my annual eye check Wednesday. No cataract surgery yet, but some edema in one eye. That means some blood leakage into the eye from too much glucose. That means I have an immediate motivation to stick to Keto and drop that glucose as quickly as possible. I've had 22 years of diabetes without it affecting my vision much, so I am kicking myself for letting it creep up on me.
