TGIF! Ah I'm so happy this week is coming to an end. :)

Last night I went to two different CVS's buying contact solution so I could make $8 profit. There was this other thing to buy for a refund that would have made me $22 but they were all out of stock. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

I found out my work is having some "Living Well" program whereby you set goals and as you make them they pay you money!!! You can bet I will be signing up for that lol. Getting paid to lose weight? You can't beat that!

My sis in law is 22 weeks pregnant and stuck on bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy. We are heading over there on Sunday to help out.

Tonight I'm going out w/ some law school friends. My goal is to not drink. I've been doing really well with that lately. Salem and I got in an argument last night and that made me want to drink but I didn't. I told myself that wasn't going to make anything better.

Our fridge got fixed yesterday. Yay!!! The total damage was only $106. Whew. Such a relief. Apparently our fridge's heater (?) was broken and that caused a block of ice to form around it and just gunk up the whole thing. Common occurrence with our model according to the repairman.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Working fridge
2) It's Friday
3) Hanging out w/ friends tonight!

Okay, off to do some work. Here's to a quick workday for my other working class friends. :)
143.2 lb Lost so far: 10.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.8 lb a week

I read somewhere that money is the #1 most succesful motivator for losing weight. (Which seems like a no brainer.) I've been thinking about paying myself--putting $7 a day in a savings account every time I stick with my goals all day. But it would be WAY better if someone else was paying me! That's awesome. Good luck with the not drinking. When I was pregnant I found that having a fake cocktail (like flavored seltzer w a splash of cranberry or other juice) in a nice cocktail glass made not drinking easier. Glad your fridge is fixed.

The nice glass is key. You still have the whole ceremony of making yourself a drink.

Great idea Beets! Thanks. I figured for tonight I will get water with lime? I don't really no what else a person could order out that would be low calorie and non alcoholic. Getting a Shirley Temple or something would just be a lot of sugar I don't need.

Good news about the fridge, it could have been a lot worse. :-) Stick to your plans tonight about the alcohol as that can easily lead you to food as well. The chart is looking great Chris keep up the steady move downwards.

You and ChattyCathy have the best jobs, I swear - where can I get one!? Thats a great thing though, and truthfully, better for them in the long run - the healthier you are, the more your able to work (less sick days) and they may get a break on health insurance if they have all thin, healthy employees. Smart smart smart! Anyway, have fun on your night out - I need one of those soon myself! Have a great Friday!

Great job with that weight. You are doing awesome. Why don't you drink vodka with soda and a splash of cranberry...not too bad on calories. How nice you are getting to help your sister in law. I'm sure she will appreciate it. I would love to get paid for losing weight lol.

My wife's hospital pays for losing weight but you have to check in once a month to check your weight they give you 5 pounds within or else you give it payment back by the weight your over....They also give vacation days off for the ones who never gain monthly
