Today i woke up and the scale was up .5 and i was horrified! But after doing my exercise and eating breakfast and some housework it went back down and then said i lost .5 more. I guess my lesson should be not to get so obsessed with the scale and just keep trucking! I know we all have our battles and the scale is definately mine.
Kudos to all! And good luck on your journeys'.

No, you shouldn't let a small gain like that on the scale upset you. Our bodies are made up of 60% water and the scale can fluctuate hourly. Many different things factor in to the change including: hormones, stress, sodium in food, water retained in muscles due to exercise, all the food we eat and drink all day, etc. All you can do is stay on your plan, eat healthy, exercise and look for the overall downward trend through weeks, not days. You are doing really well. Don't sweat small gains. They are all apart of the weight loss journey.

I think I've told countless ppl not to obsess over the scale. Weigh yourself once a week, every saturday maybe, and go from there.
