Paige E's Journal, 20 May 2008

I haven't recorded what I've eaten the last few days. I actually haven't done much the last few days. I'm a little worried I might have gotten a little off track, so I'm going to try to be better about it the rest of the week.

TOM is hitting me hard and I'm hungry for salty foods, chocolate, general sweets and I'm lazy. I haven't worked out once this week (although I did go for a LONG walk with my sister on Sunday evening). I am committed to going in the morning! I haven't strayed really far from what I am supposed to eat, but I'm not happy about it!! ha! I really want "stuff". And regular "stuff" has not helped!!! I have to be more careful because I really steer towards the salty foods - oh joy, I'll just retain MORE water than ususal!

I wasn't really hungry - and I certainly didn't want vegetables. So I didn't really eat a lot today. I ate more because I knew I had to have something.

Anyway, here's how the day went with food:

BREAKFAST
5 slices of bacon = 0C
2 cups of coffee with h/c = 0C

LUNCH
2 hot dogs = 2C
mayo and mustard = 1C

DINNER
rotisserie chicken = 0C
mayo = 2C

SNACKS
1 slice of muenster cheese = 1C
1 serving of sugar free pudding = 4C

TOTAL = 10C

REMINDER TO SELF:
I am a fun person.

I have strong convictions and I love that about myself.

I make healthy choices about my life.

Well, it looks like you'r surely back on track with only 10c. Just don't give in to those cravings, you'll have to start all over again. I think Losingisfun posted a website yesterday on what to eat when you're craving certain foods. Maybe you can check it out? Be strong! You can do it!

Paige... do ya feel strong enough to do this.. square up to those cravings, head on, look them straight in the eye, then start giggling! Confusing the enemy always gets ya a head start. I can SO identify with those feelings of wanting "stuff 'n' stuff" its hard at times isint it. What I did a while back was to write down a few lines as to why I was so unhappy the way I was.. when times get tough I re read those sentiments and it reminds me what its all for and never fails to help (kinda like the cavalry charging over the hill to help!).. Amazing carb count today... more power to ya..
