Up another darn pound today. It's amazing how one pound can deflate a fantasic mood from a previously great day.

While I was sick for 2 weeks I lost 10 pounds eating 80+ carbs/day and under 1,000 calories. I laid on the couch for a solid 2 weeks not doing any sort of excercise. Now that I am back at induction levels, I gain. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

I am back at about 75% of my normal water intake; fiber is a little low but I take a supplement for that and my calories are above 1500.

I will be really PO'd if all ten pounds come back. I don't know how to proceed at this point. Am I one of those people who have to eat low carb and low cal? I mean come on already-I try and try and my body just doesn't seem to want to cooperate!

I was so looking forward to being able to wear this fantasic chinese style suit- that I hardly ever have an occasion to wear -to my father-in-laws funeral this weekend...if I keep gaining-no suit for me :(

UGH!!
Anyway Happy Friday to those who continue to be successful :)

Amy, sorry you are struggling trying to get back into the groove of things. It's just what happens when we change up our eating (calories, carbs, fat, etc.). Just stick with it and I am certain you will start losing again.

Thanks Keli, I don't usually get so discouraged over a pound! Maybe a full moon is lurking lol.

Unfortunately, there was a post from someone a while back stating that there was a report showing it's common for us to weigh less during a full moon. And the moon is still visible from here and it's no where near full. Sorry. We can just count down the days til the next one, wait for it to be high in the sky and all of us jump on the scales at once.

Amy, keep at it, my friend. You will get back into the groove of things, and your body will respond in kind. The weight is porbably water retention and it will fall off in a day or two. Getting back into the groove can be so frustrating after not being able to follow our new Woe for any reason, but after being sick it is doubly hard. Hang on there, lady, it will get better.

Well, I tried the suit on...still a little too tight but I buttoned and zipped it all up..it's a size 8! I still buy size 14 pants so the size MUST be wrong. LOL Anyway I feel better than I did this morning and found a perfectly suitable skirt and red top to wear to the services tomorrow. Thanks for all the encouragement today it did help!
