Well something has changed in me ladies. For the good of course, I no longer have been craving sweets, even when I went grocery shopping last night and they were everywhere! My hubby even mentioned how I wasn't even talking about how I can't have this or that. i was perfectly content...no, excited about the fruit and sugar free Jello in my basket. I had no idea how little calories are in that stuff! A little cool whip to make it taste fantastic and I don't feel guilty at all! I am also working on eating more, trying to get to about 14-1500. And then maybe zig-zagging between 1200 and 1800. So, yesterday a little while after dinner, I was still perfectly satisfied but didn't feel like I was eating enough calories and so I made my own smoothie! I get smoothies from xtreme juice or smoothie king a lot because of my short lunch and limited options (besides the mall food court-yuck) but I've been concerned lately about the sugar content in them even though I always ask them to leave out the additives. So I made my own with a banana, 2 cups strawberries and skim milk. I've always grown up drinking whole and nothing else so hiding it in a smoothie is a good way to get used to it. It was delicious and I shared it with my husband. I still didn't get my calories as high as I wanted, but I think I've got the right idea. I'm going to start bring a lot more healthy snacks to work to munch on throughout the day to keep my metabolism going. I think I'm a changed woman! Not to say I might regress to a cupcake every now and then but I am pumped and plowing through! Woo hoo! We're gonna see some real results soon!
