If I have been doing everything right, why did I gain weight?

That can happen to anyone. It could be anything from too much sodium in the diet to hormones. Did you eat too many calories? Even on Atkins you can gain if you eat more than your burn off. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight gain. Even exercise can cause a temporary water weight gain sometimes. Just stick with it and it will come off.
