So true! I exercise to help my muscles and joints feel better, but I know that any weight loss is going to be determined by calories I put in my body.

I think this is good to keep in mind when life happens (i.e. illness, injury, disability, etc).

That's true in my case as I have O.Arthritis in my spine and heavy exercise isn't an option. The benefits of losing 50lbs though means I stopped taking anti-inflammatories like they were sweets over 6 months. I don't drive, so walk to and from work everyday.

True, though exercise will tone up your body and improve how you feel so definitely not a waste of time.

True but exercise you will lose it quicker and as Tracey was saying We both have arthritis so I do a lot of walking lost over 2 stone since I started this and haven’t had much pain so win win
