What is the point of recording a journal or a post if no one comments on them!?

Your journal is a place to record your journey. I always post like I'm posting to others but I'm the one who's going to read it in the future.

Hi, It's nice to get the comments, but I like using the journal to get my feelings out of me instead of stuffing them inside like I used to. It's cathartic and feels much better after I get things out in the open. I guess you could say it's therapeutic for me. I'm hoping as I lose more weight, I'll be able to do more exercising and I can use exercise to get the feelings out that way. Right now that's not possible. Keep up the good work. Julie

Thank ya'll. I see your point but I thought this site was to be supotive place too. Not just the journal but mostly the forum posts.

Forum posts are very supportive. Buddies can be too. You want to be buddies? Add me and I'll be happy to walk the journey with you. I have a long walk ahead of me.

That is ok all, just must of been having a moody day...not sure why! I lost 1 lb this last week but a friend of mine made a good point that losing one lb a week is better then in a year you have lost 54 lbs instead of losing 54 lbs in 6 months and having it come back on or more...I like that but I also would like to lose more then a lb a week but not every week...gotta start some where :)

Ya it is better I guess to lose it slower then fast even though we want to lose it fast. But it will help our body to keep the weight off
