I finally was able to join a local fitness center. It's brand new and they are still offering charter memberships, which is why I was actually able to afford it. I kept debating if I should or not, financially speaking, but the desire was overwhelming. I ended up selling my Gazelle in order to pay the enrollment fee along with my first and last month fees. I have to say I'm rather excited about it. It has a pool and free daycare for a year. I like to swim and have an 11 mo. old daughter. The fitness center is about 2 minutes from work, on the way home. They don't open, officailly, until the 14th.
I have high hopes that this will be the key to my success!
