BusinessWeek: It's Best to Weigh Yourself Every Day!
I'm now a believer in the "weigh once a day" concept. Before I would weigh just once weekly. During that allowed me to string bad days together and just wish for the best. This way, I have to face the music every morning and will usually do something to correct bad behavior.

Ellipticals
Ellipticals are my overall favorite machine. Easy on the knees--no impact and I think great for the back. Much, much better than a treadmill in my opinion. I have one at home, and also use them at the gym.

A new machine, arc trainer, is becoming my first love however. It is a combination of an ellipitical and a stair climber.

I wish this wasn't as much of a "secret."
I believe what made this an explosive post was the "extended" explanation to the question. If the answer had been " As a christian my faith sustains ME..." I would have taken the post just as that. If was when the person decided to "open the door of the church" and seem to imply that her method is the ONLY way that I considerd the post out of bounds.

Many of us have faith, some less conventional than others. I RESPECT everyone but please....don't "invite" me into your personal faith.

Bicycles
I just started back riding a month ago. Hubby is all gung-ho but I'm a bit nervous. At 49, I find it really hard on the bottom despite wearing biking shorts.
