I stopped at Wal-Mart tonight on the way home and found a couple of little dresses on sale for $7. They're not exciting, just the kind of thing I'd wear around the house or walking the dog. The exciting thing was that the X-large was too big! The large fit like it was made for me. This does not happen in my world. It validated that I've bumped my RDI down another 100 calories to 1500/day. Today I've eaten well, including snacks, and I'm at 1255 for the day. I feel good! Today I wore a blouse I haven't put on in months. I used to completely fill it and looked like a box when I wore it. Today I could grab a handful of cloth on either side and it "flowed" like it's supposed to. I love it! These things are the types of validation I need to keep on going. It's not easy to give up foods I love, but I don't need to pull that trigger.
