keto is not for everyone, especially if you don't like a lot of meat and fish. nothing wrong with going with a reduced calorie diet loaded with the healthy food you enjoy. It makes it much easier to do a diet plan that works in how you like to eat

Keto didn't work for me either so I have been following a plant based diet for a few months. Find what works for you!

I tried Keto myself and I can't do it either, felt greasy. everyone is different on how your body reacts to food. Sugar is hard addiction to get rid of. Still working on avoiding it to. I have variety in my diet, it's never the same. Tracking is the key to a successful diet, which I have to work on. I'm a lazy tracker..

I don't do keto either. I track calories and carbs and sodium. 1200 calories a day and most days it's below 1000. It's working for me. Good luck on your journey.

Thank you all for the kind support! I am going with trying to avoid sugar and reducing my calories to below1400 per day. I seem to be able to live with this. And I may fast one day per week.

I tried it for awhile and lost some but it was too hard for me. Like you I'm not really a meat eater. My daughter also can't have fat good or bad. So we do a high fiber low fat diet. It works for us when we do it. I lost over 350 pounds doing it. I only regained 150 because I had my teeth done and got 3rd degree burns on throat.
