Checked my ketones and glucose before eating; glucose 4.5 (about 81) and ketones 3.3. I ate about 5+ hours ago. Will test again in an hour

what do you check your ketones with? I've heard of a breath one but wasn't sure which was best

Ketones=3.5 glucose=4.6 (about 84) about 2 hours after finishing. And I use a care touch

gosh I don't think I could eat all that food at one setting. but it looks great

84 is great. I am 4 days into my fast and I haven't hit that even after a run... (sigh)

Abef I am surprised by how low it is! I thought it would be higher. I thought I was diabetic when I first started dieting 4/15/18. Had a lot of the symptoms. Baskington it was a lot of food for me! I couldn’t eat the dessert. But it was actually only about 1 1/2 cups of food. I use saucers to eat off of lol
