I never realized how much this app can help till now and reading everybody's inspiring stories. Been in a bad spot emotionally the last while so I feel like a complete mess and failure actually in all aspects of my life at the moment! I can start seeing and feeling it physically as well. Scrolling through Fatsecret this morning I'm amazed how many people actually feel this way.
Im actually a very private person, but I don't have a big support system so gonna try and really keep this app as my Diary and keep myself accountable for anything and everything I eat and do (or don't do for that matter).
My biggest flaw is getting my head straight, starting with a bang and then between 5 days to 2 weeks in I feel drained and binge and get depressed etc..am I the only one?? Yes this is probably somewhat Psychological and yes only I can work on that, but as for today I'm just gonna jump right in even though my mood is not right 'cause it's now or never...and if I look and feel better about myself these things will maybe sort itself out, who knows!
Today's goals:
# I want to deactivate my social media accounts for a while (this has a big influence on my day and it is SO wrong!)
# To not set unrealistic exercise goals for each day, but take my 8-10 hour working days into account
# To not make my goal list to long so I will get overwhelmed and fall back again.
Hopefully this (thousandth) time around things will go better!!

Another thing people tend to underestimate is having enough sleep. This can be difficult especially if you are stressed and feeling anxious but lack of sleep will affect every area of your life. I support you in not overextending yourself it will help relieve the pressure over time. All the best, stay strong and keep calm.

Thank you SkillzB that is definitely part of my problem, but I have been prescribed something just for temporary use to get my sleep pattern on track again. Anna0991 that is definitely something I will give a try in the very near future thank you!!

Hi MScotten. I am 100% behind the banting lifestyle. I've been banting for exactly 1 month now and have lost 7.1kg There is an excellent Facebook group called Zest for Life which offers fantastic support for those wanting to enjoy the banting lifestyle and get their zest back

I feel the same. Been trying to lose weight all year, but have only lost about 3kg. I'm so good during the week, but on weekends I sabotage my efforts (definately an emotional thing). I've had enough and so I've joined a martial arts studio. Going to learn the art of kickboxing, starting Monday and really hope that this will motivate me. It's good to read a post such as yours, don't feel so alone!
