I broke my fast at 38 hours. Fasting is going to be difficult over the next week as we've got Tony's youngest son Joe, his wife, Victoria and their 4 year old daughter Aria down in Winchelsea for the week. We're having designated time off on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - Wed & Thur from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm so I should be able to just have something in the afternoon with them and Tuesday 11 am - 5 pm when we'll take them for lunch - and afternoon tea. We'll be meeting them in Hastings on Tuesday which is an hour each way for us. I'm going to be knackered.

We also have Tony's eldest son Mike, and his wife Su-Young coming over here to see Joe etc., tomorrow and staying for lunch. Tony's ex-wife Becky and her partner Karen will be here in the afternoon (Karen is preaching in the morning).

So far I've started to make - lamb stew, vegetarian tamale pie (topped with cornbread), cheese, onion & potato pie - bought puff pastry - and I've still to make a prawn, salmon & crab crumble. Karen is a vegetarian and Su-Young eats very little meat and Tony, of course, is a veggie, but they all eat seafood.

I'll also be making a Cinnamon Apple Crumb cake - low carb and gluten free (for me lol).

I was supposed to be going shopping this morning, but Jenny - Tony's sister - isn't coming over as she's not well.

Joe & co have about a 6 hour drive in front of them - probably more with stops for Aria, so I've a chicken to cook for when they come tonight.

Phew - one good thing is that I've found Tramadol wakes me up. I've not been sleeping well and went to bed the other afternoon as I was so tired. I took 2 tramadol and ping I was wide awake. It also explains why I've not been sleeping well - I'm sticking to just codeine & paracetamol at night time from now on.

Enjoy all the lovely family time! 🙋🏻Aren’t drug reactions weird sometimes? LOL You’re probably safer if you stick to some melatonin at night to help you induce decent sleep around the pain. It can be counted on. But be careful with it as too large a dose leads to tiredness the next day. 🤷🏻‍♀️You have fun with your cooking Mini and feeding Tony’s family! You’ve got it well in hand! LOL 🙆🏻‍♀️

That's a pain isn't it snailrunner. I have to be careful with that. Ma in law doesn't eat much & Tony's a veggie, so I'm supercareful about meat.
