I found a recipe for fat free brownies today, made with a mix of oat flour and white, hot coffee, cocoa powder and banana puree. I added a bit of protein powder(can't help it, I always have to tweak recipes an little!) and subbed splenda for 2/3 of the sugar. They turned out quite good! i used that Hershey's special dark cocoa, it is strong and makes very chocolaty brownies! I used extra too..hehe, figured I saved some calories from the sugar, plus the dark chocolate kind only has 5 calories, 0 fat per tablespoon!
i think the brownies have about 120 calories,0.5 fat. I added some calories to what the recipe said because I cut it into 12 peices and they said it served 16. But those are some tiny brownies!
Only one problem..now I want another! Dang it that always happens..but i better wait until after dinner and see if i have any calories left. Think I'll go chug some water and pump some iron to get my mind off them! They might be healthier but they are not calorie free!! Can't have a ton of anything on I will gain gain gain! I gotta prove to myself that I can control portions, or else I will not be able to trust myself with making healthy desserts. And I love to bake, so this is something that needs to be dealt with!
