Day 0 of my new journey. I've gained 70+ pounds in the last three years through hard knock times. I'm feeling pretty down on myself and my body is feeling pretty angry. My biggest hurdle right now is motivation. But someone suggested this app and I am seeing a lot of great support here. I'm already glad that I signed up. And you guys have inspired me to be better and healthier.
292.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 75.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Pick a diet, your own or another, decide out how many pounds you can comfortably loose a week, and stick to the calories suggested for weight loss. You will be successful if you put your mind to it! Congratulations for getting the mind set to do this. Blessings my friend!

Welcome we are glad that you have joined us. The folks on here are patient, kind, encouraging and an all around support system. You have done a self evaluation and you want to make some healthy changes. I had to own my behavior of what I ate, When I ate it and the amount that I ate. Start there and it will give you a clear understanding of how and why we gain weight as opposed to having a healthy weight. Again welcomed and you will make your goal a little at a time. Day by day.

There is SO much support here! For so many different approaches and methods. Don't let anyone's enthusiasm for their particular way come across as pressure to do the same. You'll find your way and people here will cheer you on.

yes motivation is hard I'm at 180 right now after having my second child my 5'1 frame can't handle this weight it makes me tired I did the first month of insanity but lost motivation when I didn't see great results but I was not eating right now I've been eating right and I want to soon start back exercising
