Day 13 - The Present Moment Is Your Magnet and Your Compass

Mind and body only live in the present. And in today’s meditation, we discover that the present moment holds tremendous organizing power in life, like a magnetic force. The power of our ever-present awareness automatically instills a sense of calm and happiness.

We heal this moment in time by centering ourselves and finding the place of peace, joy, and pure being. You can apply self-awareness and quickly learn when you are present and when you aren’t. This allows you to restore yourself to “the now” any time you want.


320am...gooood saturday morning...trying my best to wake up an get with it...but not sure thats gonna happen..end of the month an after 2 days of riding more elevation..i have to admit..my upper thighs are talking to me..not bad..but enough that i know i probably should take off an let them have rest..this week 4682 feet in elevation..almost twice what i normally ride..the more i practice riding more elevation..the stronger my legs will become..

another day of rain is in forcast..in fact..next 3-4 days..grass is looking greener ..an its just the start of april..an i can see it getting taller...means gonna be starting grass mowing sooner this year..

not much planned for easter..easter meal is gonna be hamburgers, cauliflower, and sweet taters..nothing special..just another day..of doing my best at staying on track of eating healthier...could of had pizza hut pizza..but turned it down..hard for me to cheat on myself anymore...i guess a good thing..

well..need to decide if im taking the day off..or draggin my tired legs into fitness room to get last day of march on zwift..no longer a matter of getting x amount of miles..the miles will happen when i get outside on the pavement..now its about riding more elevation to get legs/thighs prepped for outside riding this year..not to many more days inside this year before i start riding outside..just a matter of the morning being warm enough for me..so i dont have to layer up as much to enjoy the ride..i have the outside thermo riding gear..but when its 50 outside..really feels like 40 or less when your riding an that cold air is passing you by..and with having a trainer inside...it does make it harder to suffer the cold...lol

well...need to close an decide what this morning brings...

Good morning Mike Maxi Momma Murph! I don't know how you do it in the cold I give you all credit as I am wrapped up in 2 electric blankets and a quilt lol You riding continue to impress. I have the bike at a 10 on incline can see the muscles getting more pronounced in my calf's and thighs. Balance is getting better and have increased to 2.8 feels good. Thanks for the inspiration Mike!

Good morning Mike! Love the Easter bunny. I'm behind with the meditations by one day each time because when we changed the clocks last weekend, it delayed the emails by an hour so we don't get them in the UK until 8.17 am, which is too late for me to meditate. Have a great Saturday 🙂

GOOOOD MORNING patty...i ride like you on the bike..one peddle at a time..like you i see my legs transforming into muscles i didnt realize i had..legs getting more firm an leaner..riding is a great body workout..a hit workout on the bike from time to time will help you alot...enjoy the day...

GOOOOOD MORNING DOOBRIE..i really enjoy doing my meditating before i start my day..gives me things to think about when im riding on zwift..an helps to center me for rest of my day as well...just helps to start my day off better...so glad to be able to listen to them..have a greattttttttttt saturday as well...
