Kind of how Im feeling lately. Im working out but dont feel like Im getting the results I want. Big around my middle, any suggestions?

If it’s fat, you’ll need to lose more weight. But if it’s not that much fat you’ll need to do some ab work. As you can’t spot reduce... the bigger your abs are built the more they show under higher bodyfat

Super shes already skinny its puffy from 6 weeks of illness and not being able to work out. We dont want her to blow away into the desert like a tumbleweed. Sheesh.

Please don't let this discourage you. 💗 You work so hard on being healthy and when our body goes through some kind of stress, it tends to not want to cooperate with our plans. Allow yourself to completely heal and slowly nug it back into your usual routine. I'm thinking your body will respond in a positive manner when it's ready. So, my recommendation is to be kind to yourself. 💖

YOH, Wow! I totally forgot about the effects of steroids! I'm wondering if that is part of it? Thanks for reminding me! 💜💜 Super, I do ab workout everytime I work out but I'm still feeling effects of not feeling well since workouts are 4-5 days a week ( all lifting) versus my usual 6 days a week. I tried to include cardio but truthfully it tires me out fast so I've only been doing treadmill/ elliptical for about 15-20 min as a warm up before I lift.💪

I really appreciate your advice! 💜 I am hardest on myself and I have to remind myself that I was really sick and not to push myself. I'm trying to keep a healthy eating plan and I've adjusted my workout days from 6 to 4-5 days a week.

If it was me, at your weight, I wouldn't be concerned at all. I would just take it easy after being so sick for so long. And I'd wear long tops that reach my hips!

Diana give yourself about 45 days and then reassess. Steroids are brutal depending on how long you were on them.

Diana if you figure it out let me know. I look thin and toned but I think the overhang is partly excess skin and what is remaining I agree with SG and that we have to lose more weight to get rid of it. I don’t want to do that because I just don’t think at our height going below 130 is going to help or it will be hard to maintain. Mother Nature is just not kind in regards to that. I do see women who look good there but not everyone is honest if they had work or not. A lady in her 60’s on a group I follow on FB said she had a tummy tuck and that is the only thing that fixed it for her. I don’t know but it is frustrating and you have been thru a lot so like YOH stated the steroids could have messed big time with your waist! Keep at it you are so strong!

I hate that feeling! But if you’ve been ill give yourself time. Last year I was sick for about 6 weeks… it sucked… I lost all my cardio and it was a long road back to normal but i just kept plugging along and got there eventually, actually better than before I was sick. It did take a few months and a ton of consistency but it was already my lifestyle so what else was I going to do? I’m sure you can and will too. Just keep living a healthy lifestyle and good habits will get you there 🙂

Rpl i have a smaller waist but the loose skin is definitely there. This is the only time in my life I couldn’t get it back but i also got really really obese so at 59 laxity is gone. It’s possible thats the case for Diana but if she was tight before she got sick then she will get tight again with enough time. I will openly admit that im getting a tummy tuck when i get my arms done next month. It’s not like it’s a lot of skin but it bothers me. You look so phenomenal it’s hard for me to believe you have an overhang.

Buenita, lol...I don't even like gin, just thought it was funny...my Alexa does talk to me on Friday evening and tells me what is going on in our town, and tells me to have a nice weekend. Once I asked her what she was going to do and she said she was going to practice the bongos!🤣🤣🤣
