Good morning. Progress not perfection is right. Every day is a brand new chance to make good choices. Very good visuals today.

About BMI...I can relate to the 'short end of the stick' analogy (although 5' 2.5" isn't really THAT short!)

I am 5' 2 and I have never been short. LOL. I think all the ladies look great

Another thing: even at the same height and weight, bodies can look extremely different depending on muscle mass. I look leaner now at 117lbs than I did at 112lbs thanks to my GAINZ.

If they really are both 70kg, Nikki and Rosanna illustrate it well - Rosanna clearly has much more muscle and less fat in her midsection and overall, so even with a higher BMI she looks way leaner than Nikki.

Love all the fruits! Well except for banana..I'm not a huge fan. Usually will only have 1/2 one in a smoothie for thickness..

There's a significant age difference in Nikki & Rosanna too...interesting, huh?

Diana - I refer to bananas as "the spinach of fruits"" -- the one I eat because they're good for me, and not because I like them. Unfortunately, this unfairly maligns spinach, which I love! 😉

I'm not much of a fast food eater these days...but this certainly makes ya think twice before ordering the 'usual' burger & fries, right?

The thing about my height is I really don't know how tall I am ! LOL The last time I was actually measured was back in HS and I was 5.4 and a half. I am 62 today. That is the height on my drivers license for the past 46 years. I also started eating a banana a day about 6 weeks ago because my physical therapist said it would help with muscle cramping at night... it works for me. Not a big fan of bananas so they are usually smashed into yogurt or sliced into a fruit salad. I stick to primarily a diet based on nutrition first so in my meal plan I wouldn't compare a fast food meal to anything else. Three years ago breakfast and lunch might have been a drive thru meal but those days are gone. If the mood strikes me for a whopper and fries it is what it is and I don't consider it lunch or dinner. Just a "brain fart" which leaves me with nothing other than thoughts that it is nothing missing in my life not to eat those types of foods.

You are after the potassium. If you don’t care for bananas have a 6 oz. Can of LOW SODIUM V-8 juice. The tangy, “salty “flavor comes from potassium chloride rather than sodium chloride.

Also try increasing your dietary intake of foods containing magnesium

@crazycatchick...that is so wild about your height! Seems like they might have measured you at a Dr appt somewhere during those years!
That's interesting about the bananas & leg cramps🤔 Glad it's helping👍
As far as the fast food comparisons go, I am pretty much in the same boat you are...but I think there may be lots of folks here on FS that might benefit. Thanks for your comments today!💙

@writingwyo...I'm surprised to hear that there are quite a few out there that don't like bananas! But that's perfectly okay!!! There's tons of other fruit to choose from, right?💙🤗

There is about 800 mg of potassium in a 6 oz can. Daily requirement is 4700mg
