The only thing I've tried that helps is try to plan what your eating this weekend in advance, that way you have a general guideline and if you screw up one day you can plan the next day accordingly.

Thanks peeps!! 💛 I know what I’m supposed to do and what not to do, I just have trouble following through 😂 When restrictions were lifted and I started socializing more with friends, that’s when my weight increased. It’s a slippery slope 😒

Weekends are batch cooking and food prep/preportioning for me, so it tends to remind my mind of the mission at hand. Also be full armed with good choices. Frozen fruit and ice for a smoothie, homemade broths to fill up on any stomach hunger tantrum, sugar free syrups to smash sweet cravings. If it is going out that gets you, water down alcohol with seltzer. Ask for things to be added to your plate (double vegetables) and to delete sauces, butter, cheese and put all dressings on the side. What gets you off? You just have to figure that out and research a new stradegy. You are and can do this ✨

I meal prep all my meal. every...single...meal.. for 7 days. except breakfast but even that is cooked the night before. so everything in lined out. has already been calculated into my calories. it's good too go. all I gotta do is not walk down the cookie Isle at the gas station 😂 and I'll be just fine.

Good afternoon, I usually don't worry about my meals on the weekend I pretty much have them under control, but this Saturday my husband and I are going to the drive-in with my brother and his wife and my sister so we're going to be ordering pizza and of course you have to have Drive-In popcorn so I'll see how it goes from there.

No, now that I have figured my macros and have bought containers to food prep. its simple.... It does take a little bit of learning at first, to weigh out my meals by grams for my indv macros, once that happens I can now eyeball it . Macros , meal prep... and its not a issue now. One trick? buy child size containers read labels track everything... youll be surprised how much more you eat .

Thanks Team!!! Much gratitude 🙏🏼 🌟💛 Yes I totally believe in measuring and prep!! Have definitely found success in those tools!! During the week I have no issue, it’s the socializing on weekends. It’s a total mental game!!! My trainer years ago told me, “Michelle( that’s my name lol), your mind will “F” you up way before your body does!! True dat, my trainer, true dat!! I need to remain mindful to reach my goals. 💪🏼💪🏼 @rick, I think it was you who had commented on a user’s post how inaccurate measuring cups are???? Say what???? Mind totally blown 🤯🤯 I use a scale and cups. So much for those cups 🤷‍♀️

Yes. I am on kid duty weekends while hubby is at work. Extra stress plus kids wasting food usually leads me to binge. Creating a weekend menu sometimes helps. 💚

There is so vast difference in the quantities given by differing measuring cups - I have discovered the same thing. Each country also has differing measuring cup volumes - the half a cup does not equate to exactly 125 ml. When the food amounts are given by grams or weight or by cup or in metric...there is a difference in the quantity. I use the same measuring cups all of the time and if in doubt as to the quantity - I use water as a measuring devices in translating from one measuring cup to another.

Michelle - You already have all the tools you need to succeed, as you already suggested, it’s mindset, as you can be disciplined during the week, just try and carry that through to Saturday, then when Sunday comes around, it’s only 1 more day of self control, You’ve got this 👍🏻🤞🏻👏🏻

Hints for socialization. Eat a huge bowl of spinach or arugula before you go so its not a lie to say you feel full. Have servers put ice in your drinks and water them down with selter. For example I will order a wine spritzer AND a side bottle of seltzer. As the glass goes down I refill. Rediscover your inner picky child. Everyone is having pizza? Great pick off the green peppers and a bit of meat and leave the crust and cheese behind or just have a sample. (Pretend we are all watching you on CCTV and you’ll win a big prize if you resist lol) Ask for a take home container with you meal and before you eat put half in it - or you can put all the bad stuff in and later throw it away, give it to the dog or hand it to a street person on the way home. Thing you really don’t want to talk about is dieting. Remember this is a lifestyle. Thank compliments and turn the convo right back to them. Goi

The more strict I am the worse I feel… I let myself try to have a good time… otherwise what’s the point? But that’s just me… the trick is to have more good days than bad

everyone has such great recommendations. I, personally, let myself eat (and drink)however and whatever i want on the weekend. Doesn't mean I eat 5000 calories, but I certainly go over the number I set for myself, and I don't feel guilty. We shouldn't. Have to adhere to the 80/20 or 70/30 rule - i am pretty disciplined Mon-Thu, so Fri-Sun or vacations, I let go. The weight is mostly down, and if it moves up a little, i put in a little extra effort Mon-Thur the next week. this is a lifestyle for me, not a diet, so i have to enjoy it. you will find what works for you - and hopefully it is without worry. we have to be kind to ourselves.

1/2 cup is 118.3 ml, it's 1/8 of a US quart. No one ever said a US quart equaled a liter. To get a better estimate from metric, remove 5%. 125 - 6.3 = 118.7.

Just filled my measuring cup with water and came up with 235g. Looks pretty good to me.

You’re strong goddess. I believe in you. If you put your mind into it, I really believe you can be the prude of the party 😜

Thank you mighty, brecco, eral and superman!! 🤩 Superman, did you mean pride of the party, not prude??? I sure hope so 😂😂😂😂 I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s comments today!! I guess this life journey is not linear, and one needs to find peace with that!! 🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼🌻 Have a lovely evening and rest well my FS Team!! 🌟🌙🌟
