Thanks everyone. HCB we put our tofu in the air fryer now. That appliance delivers amazingly consistent results. If you don't have one a little bit of olive oil and a cookie sheet at 350 in the oven does a pretty darn good job. Oh and always press the water out

What kind of tofu? Do you press the water out before cooking?

Lambi this extra firm tofu from Costco. Any brand of extra firm will do. And yeah you press the water out before cooking. You don't need a fancy tofu press either. I just take it ours of the box, put it on a plate, put a cutting board on top of it then put something heavy like a cast iron pan on top of the cutting board. Then let it sit for like 10 or 15 min, it's pretty well and drained after that.
