BK2526's Journal, 28 July 2020

No workouts until next week. Boo and a dramatic Hiss. 😒 So still sticking around 1200 calories until I can resume. Taking the time to heal and that’s more important. Feeling puffy, though. 😂 Scale is being as friendly as it can be so I’m resigned to feel grateful for being mindful. Not gonna have a pity party... well....maybe a teeny tiny one.

Diet Calendar Entry for 28 July 2020:
545 kcal Fat: 13.00g | Prot: 42.00g | Carb: 73.00g.   Breakfast: Starbucks Nonfat Caffe Mocha (Venti). Lunch: Mission Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips, Kroger Grilled Chicken Breast, Kroger Hearts of Romaine Lettuce. more...

Okay, 5 minute pity party allowed, then back to it. Taking time to heal is important. 💜

It'll give me a chance to catch up! Maybe. Plenty of time for the gym though, in all seriousness. I do feel your pain though! 😢♥️💪🏼

Thank you everyone. Liv, J, Tatauu! 💕😊 Shir, I only took a 3 minute pity party to rollover the two remaining minutes for the next one. Lol. Chris, thank you! It is a great way to look at it! I’m missing my workouts. DP, I think I’m the one having to catch up. Lol. Your muscle definition is on point!💞 It is awesome that so many understand the feeling you get when you’re sidelined from working out. As Chris pointed out... it’s a good thing. Means we want to get back to it. Funnily my husband pointed out my puffiness. He said he was glad for it. He said it would help refocus me when I get into the new normal of working out and to appreciate my results and routine more. If he’s popping by and reading this.. thank you!💞😘 Sadly I will have to totally rethink my lifting as it has become apparent that I did suffer some nerve damage and have a seroma (one that they are going to try and drain on Thursday). As for the nerve damage, they (my doctors) are gonna work on a game plan. Will I lift again? Yes! It will take time, though. So I’m gonna do cardio next week and approved stretches for the damage. Hey, I’m not defeated. I’m motivated. Okay, thanks for reading my novel. 😂

Would you have done it knowing what you know now as far as having nerve damage? Just curious.

Hi Liv and thank you! Happy to see you pop over! 💞

DP, If I was to go in knowing I would definitely have this damage.... I truly don’t know. Aesthetically and even physically (a bunch of loose skin can create problems), I’m pleased. (Aside from nerve damage, of course). And they did do corrective work on old scars and built up scar tissue that had also caused some pain. A purely vain reason would have me leaning towards yes, to be completely honest. Plus I have an annoying habit of seeing “problems” as challenges. Now reason would probably (hopefully) override the vanity. Yep, I can now fully say I’m ALMOST positive I’d not do it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s was a tough question. 🤣

I was just being nosy because I definitely hate the loose skin I have but I love to lift but I lift to look better and the surgery would do that so kinda just wondering. 😉
