Luckily, I don't work, so I don't have to dress to impress anyone. I've been wearing some shorts that have a drawstring that I can tighten to make them fit. Ordering three different sizes online is a good idea, but presents another problem because since I travel, I have to go to the possibly infected post office to get and return mail. I'm making due with what I have for now, but I'll be so glad when that virus goes away. It's so disruptive!

lonniehuffman, I've been ordering online too. It's just hard because I'm very short haha. I can't order junior sizes because the proportions are way off! I'm in the southwest, in a hot spot area for the virus. I'm not going to risk it. Luckily, I've kept some leggings from when I was thinner and I also have drawstring pants. I just feel more comfortable in denim jeans 😂 Good luck to you!

newnamewhodis, I'm going to try that. I've just been looking for basics. So I've been trying Amazon. The return process is easier with them too. My husband and I also have prime, which makes things a bit speedy.

Keilin_4, Thank you! May I ask where you get clothes? I have a hard time finding dresses and denim pants that fit right 😅 My older sister is also petite, but she has a different body type and is able to fit into juniors. My shoulders and hips are too wide for junior sizing😭

I added a little elastic inside the back of my shorts so they would quit falling off when I'm walking. All I did was take a 6" piece, center it in the back waistband (you can tack it with safety pins) and sewed both ends and right in the middle. This should keep me decent through the pandemic and easy enough to remove when I donate them later. No reason you can't do it with jeans, in fact, you'll have more material to hide it and you can use the seams.
